I got this reading lamp to allow me to have a lamp that illuminates my favorite reading spot without having to turn on all the light in my living room. This is a perfect solution. The LED light is small, but gives enough light for reading or other tasks that require bright light focused on a specific area. It was very easy to assemble and the weighted base means that it will stay put.
