I got this to use when I get up in the middle of the night so I dont disturb my housemate. It does the job perfectly! The dimmest setting is bright enough to see my way around, while the brightest is good for reading. The two settings in between are good mood lighting for late night, and cover the whole room. And the lantern design is just fun to carry, like a lighthouse keeper of old.

Beautiful light! Was a little nervous when we received the box because it was extremely lightbut upon opening it, was pleasantly surprised how beautiful and elegant it is in person. A few reviews said their bottom pole was bent, ours was not! Love this light and love the price even more-highly recommend.
