They are nice lamps, easy to install, but does not have great lighting. But for decoration purpose they are nice.

After reading some reviews, I was pleasantly surprised how nice this lamp looks. Not flimsy, more substantial than expected. And yes, it does stand straight if you know what you are doing. I will agree that I wish it was brighter as it is the only light for the guest bedroom and it is kinda dark in there. I was being prepared to return it but now have dumped all the packaging as it is a keeper. The shade is a decent size and very unique.
