I really like the way the glass casts light onto the ceiling. I do use with an Edison bulb on a dimmer switch which helps a lot to get the look I want.

I love these sconces, exactly the look I was going for. They are well made, the glass is very thick and heavy. I didnt connect the electric because I have enough lighting and I purchased them for decorating purposes, but the installation seemed pretty straightforward for anyone connecting to the electric.
