I put these in all the stairwells of my house as well as the dining room, wine cellar, and in the TV room. I put most on a dimmer except the ones in the stairwell. I initially bought two to see how they would look in the stairwell, and then bought eight more. I think they look great (obviously, or I wouldn’t have bought ten). Should have asked for a bulk discount.

Easy to put together. Looks great. It did take 2 of us to put together so that 1 person could hold the center and the other could screw in the arms of the light at the correct angle. I recommend wearing gloves with grip, otherwise your hands will just continue to glide over the arms and not really “grab” them to screw them in to the center. Fixture looks great–exactly the look we were going for in our breakfast area. We used the larger bulbs with the fixture and made it look even larger.
