The Orchid Linear Suspension from Metropolitan Lighting arranges leaf-shaped handmade glass panels in an overlapping horizontal sequence along a steel bar. Each piece sits at a slight angle to its neighbor, giving the row a gentle sense of movement. The frosted, textured glass evenly distributes ambient light along its length, with no concentrated points of brightness. This dimmable fixture also includes a pair of slender rods connecting the bar to the ceiling, keeping the hardware minimal and the focus on the glass work below.
