Minimal, hand-applied stains and finishes are designed to enhance the wood’s organically weathered appearance.
Pieces finished in Spalted Oak are naturally sun-bleached.
Pieces finished in Spalted Oak and Ebony are sealed and lacquered with clear acrylic for added protection and a subtle sheen. In these finishes, any gaps in the reclaimed wood are filled with epoxy resin and sanded, resulting in a smooth, consistent surface.
Pieces finished in Fawn feature a light stain to enhance the natural color variations and organic details, including cracks and gaps, that may appear in the reclaimed wood.
Finishes may change over time, and natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features, adding character to your piece.
