    This lamp is very unique and I get so many compliments. I don’t know why it’s described as modern since it’s more of a vintage 1930’s design, but oh well, that doesn’t really matter anyway. Just an observation. The lights are easy to install, the wiring is relatively simple, and everything sits flush with the wall. The lamp itself emits quite a bit of light, and it’s perfect for use as a wall light in a hallway or at the top of stairs, ET sees. I really like the amber glow, it provides shadows and it does a great job of diffusing the light without making it too harsh. At least that silly little crystal hanging from the bottom of the light fixture looked ridiculous, in my opinion, so I removed that too, and added a little brass pendant on a smaller chain, which looks more elegant. All in all, a very unique light and a beautiful statement piece.
